Another letter arrives from Struthers, Ohio. In some ways life seems pretty normal for the kids in Ohio, but there is still the constant reminder that these are war times with gas rationing and boys in the army.
The next letter from England arrives. The war is closer there and residents have been asked to go without heat until November. It strikes me that we take so much for granted in our lives today.
